Director

Lakshen Sucameli was born in 1956 in Rimini, Italy.

In 1978, he travelled to India and met Osho.  

In 1992, he established Navala Productions Ltd. a film and TV production company in Rome.   

With Navala Productions, he has produced and directed two feature length films supported by the Italian Ministry of Art and Entertainment. 

The first feature, ‘Blue Line’, is based on a novel he published in 1990.

The filmwas selected for the International Festival of Venice in 1995 and was later awarded the Quality Prize by the Italian Ministry of Culture. 

His second feature, ‘Zorba il Buddha’, won First Prize at the Goa Spiritual Film Festival in 2004 and has been screened at many film festivals around the world.

In the last years, Lakshen Sucameli has directed and produced several documentaries on various topics
